Claire Parker

Physiotherapist

I’m a proud and enthusiastic physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2007 with a first class honours degree… a career that I have wanted to do since I was eleven years old.

After graduating I spent 18 months completing my core rotations within an acute hospital setting spending time treating a range of conditions across cardiothoracics, neurology, orthopaedics and out patients. I progressed into a senior role becoming a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist both in NHS and private settings. I have extensive experience in treating and managing a wide range of conditions including back pain, sciatica, neck pain, whiplash, osteoarthritis, soft tissue injuries, tennis elbow and rotator cuff problems to name just a few.

I have worked with Southend Girls’ football team and regularly take part in continued professional development to keep up-to-date with evidence based guidelines in order to help best guide your treatment.

My professional interests focus on promoting health and wellbeing, clinical Pilates, functional rehabilitation and posture management. Since having children, I have developed an interest in Women’s Health, in particular ante and post natal conditions. I am also trained in acupuncture.

Marta Pieniazek

Clinical Assistant

Hi, my name is Marta and I have been a member of the team since 2014.
I had an accident as a child, I hurt my back and my shoulder. I learned to live with pain and discomfort as I never met anyone who could help me, until I met Stuart Lawrence. After having my regular adjustments, I noticed a life changing difference. He was able to manage my condition and help me start living my life without constant pain. Now, together with a healthy diet and exercise, I can maintain my good health.

When I was offered a job at the clinic, I was very happy to accept, as I became friends with everyone working there.
It is very fulfilling to witness our patients recovering from their conditions, educating them that there are alternative, non-invasive, non-surgical and medication free ways to improve their health.

I try to create a very friendly, family like atmosphere at the clinic. A comfortable and calm patient equals the highest chance of the best response to treatment.

Pamela Cox

Clinical Assistant

I have worked with Stuart, and Claire, our physiotherapist therapist, since 2009 and I have found the health information I have learned beneficial in my own day to day life.

I have suffered with back/bone problems for many years and I now have severe Spondylosis and osteoporosis. However, since having adjustments and massage here on a regular basis together with a healthy eating pattern and regular exercise, I have been able to cut down dramatically on the amount of medicine I need to take. I walk at least three times a week and, with the aid of a pedometer, I aim at between 5,000 and 6,000 steps on each walk. I also enjoy aqua aerobics once a week and overall I feel much better in myself.

I look forward to meeting you and to offering you a cup of tea or coffee when you visit.

Rachael Locke

Clinical Assistant

After having my 2 children and carrying them on my right hip, I developed sciatica which was very painful and caused many a sleepless night. I contacted the clinic and they managed to fit me in the same day which I was grateful for. I didn’t think I’d ever feel ‘normal’ and out of pain again but was a lot better after just a few adjustments. After attending the clinic as a patient, I fell in love with the friendly and optimistic environment, and couldn’t resist but seek out the opportunity to be a part of that and have been working here since 2014.

I decided to take up golf a year ago and enjoy playing once or twice a week. I also started going to Zumba which is something I had always avoided because of the impact and twisting of the back. I get adjusted regularly and am able to do the things I love without being in discomfort.

I like to think I am the first friendly face patients see when they walk through the door and enjoy seeing an improvement in them week after week.

Heidi Hayes

Accounts Manager

As the Centre Manager, I am always available to help you and offer any assistance you may require, either in person here at the centre or over the telephone. In addition to my work here, I am kept very busy fulfilling my other role in life – that of a wife to my husband Karl and a mum to my two lovely children, who you may see at the clinic from time to time having adjustments – usually after some sort of sporting accident!

I feel sure we will be able to assist you with any aches or pains you may have and I look forward to welcoming you to the centre.
